About Us

Our Story

For 133 months, I lost my freedom and struggled to keep those I loved safe.

My name is Harold D’Souza, and my wife and I are survivors of labor trafficking and debt bondage. Originally from India, I stepped down from a senior management position in order to pursue the American Dream. I came to the United States following the advice and encouragement of a man who would become my trafficker. Today, Harold is a Survivor-Advocate and Public Speaker. My experience has given me a new purpose and meaning in life.

We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Our approach

Our Mission
Our mission is to lead the charge against modern-day slavery by using survivor-informed expertise to combat human trafficking.

Modern slavery is almost invisible, yet it exists in areas all over the world including the United States of America.  Our organization relies on grassroots methods to transform victims into survivors, inspiring them to lead a happy life free of bondage. We want to empower individuals and communities around the world so that they may forge their path forward with their Eyes Open.

Our Vision
We want to "create a voice of courage, hope, and freedom for other trafficking victims and end this great evil."
Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
